Easy DIY College Care Package
I want to share an easy, yet adorable college care package idea that I did for my daughter! I sent “Sunshine in a Box” to her dorm at FSU!
First I brainstormed what she loves/needs:
- Comfy loungewear
- Sunflowers
- Cats
- Fun Socks
- Reusable water bottle
- Journaling
- Scrunchies
- Self Care Items
- Food
Then I jumped on Amazon and searched for the items with the word “yellow”!
I also ordered yellow tissue paper on Amazon to keep everything in place inside the box!
Visit Etsy for these cute printouts to glue to the inside of the box flaps! Or make your own!
I just used one of the large amazon boxes that some of the items arrived in as the care package box.
You can also order a free priority box online from USPS.com and they will deliver it to your door!
I brought it to the post office and it only cost $10 to ship priority.
Maddie received it in 3 days and FaceTimed me while she opened it!

She loved everything and couldn’t wait to put it all on!
This was just as much fun for me as it was for Maddie to receive it!
I can’t wait to do another one with a new theme!
